Limerick about Journey with Alliteration

One day he set off for another dimension
We carry on the circle’s voyage in contrition
Over the Ganges he drifts
Over him we whine and weep
His sail swapped side across the horizon.

This is my try with limerick, as the poetry challenge goes on. I could not think any other journey than the one we have with life, as the lunar year end drew near. Last year, my friend of the same age went on forever to the other world and that was the only thing I have in mind.

Well, it is the New Lunar Year so wish people and the world peace and love.
